October ELLE

In the October issue of ELLE (out now) I've written about my runaway Las Vegas wedding. It's included as part of the 'Do You Remember The First Time?' feature (with Monique Roffey writing about her first bra). Back in May 2010 it was my first trip to America, my first time in Sin City and, not least, my first time as a bride. 

As well as the delights of a stealth Vegas wedding, I write about a Texan mushroom hunter called Butch, a night spent in a concrete wigwam and a whole lot of chimichangas. I also mention a photo taken by a hobo. This is it. A quick snap on a desert-hot day, trucks whistling past, camera not quite steady. More dear and beloved than any stagey shot.
